LEAD CITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CROWNED STATE CHAMPION AT THE 2026 SCIENCE OLYMPIAD NIGERIA COMPETITION
Lead City International School has emerged as the overall State Champion at the Science Olympiad Nigeria Competition held at Lead City University on Thursday, 14th May 2026.
Competing across six categories; Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry Lab, Circuit Lab, Dynamic Planet, Electric Vehicle, and Solar Power, our students demonstrated exceptional brilliance, teamwork, and innovation throughout the competition.
With an impressive total score of 410 points, Lead City International School secured 1st place among eight participating schools, earning the prestigious title of State Champion.
This remarkable achievement reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the unwavering support of the school’s management and staff. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to this success.
We are also delighted to announce that the school has qualified for the National Competition, scheduled to take place at Adeleke University in July.
