COAS LITERARY COMPETITION 2025

Adefaye Adekunle Oluwafikunayomi, a Grade 10 student of our great citadel, Lead City International School, Jericho, Ibadan, clinched 1st place in the Arts category at the Chief of Army Staff’s Literary Competition 2025, featuring students from Nigeria’s 6 geopolitical zones.

Representing 2 Division AOR, he received a ₦600,000 cash prize at HQ 2 Division, Ibadan—presented by Chief of Staff (COS) HQ 2 Division NA, Brigadier Gen MI Falana on behalf of the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 2 Division NA, Major General Obinna Onubogu.

His mother, Mrs Gbenga Francis Adefaye, teachers, and school management praised his discipline and passion. Adekunle expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Army, while the GOC encouraged his continued excellence.
